Tampa Bay birthdays, wherever you are holding one.

Homes, screened lanais, neighborhood pavilions, and community pool decks all work. What we need is roughly 30 by 30 feet of level ground and one standard outlet.

Home setups, grass or pavement

Either surface takes the booths. A driveway is often the drier option after a wet week.

Screened lanais and covered patios

Common here and workable, provided the roof clears the tents or we set the booths without them.

Neighborhood pavilions

Check whether your association wants a certificate of insurance, and tell us what it should say.

What arrives at your house.

We get there ahead of your start time, build the midway, work every booth for the full session, and pack all of it out. Nothing is dropped off for you to run.

Why parents book a midway instead of an inflatable.

Hosts work every booth

You are not handed a pile of games to run yourself. Our staff keep the booths moving and hand out the stickers.

We bring all of it

Tents, games, sound, and stickers, plus the crew. You provide a flat 30 by 30 area and a standard outlet.

Built for ages 3 to 12

Difficulty is set booth by booth, so a three-year-old and a fifth-grader can play the same game and both enjoy it.

Dry-season weekends book first

The stretch from October to May fills earliest around the bay. A deposit holds the date and the balance is due the day before.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been running carnivals in Tampa Bay?
Big Idea Entertainment Tampa opened in 2025 and has run more than two hundred events since. The equipment, the training, and the booth games are the same ones the wider company has been running for years, so a new market does not mean a new playbook.
Do you set up on a lanai or a covered patio?
Often yes. If the roof clears the tents we set up as normal, and if it does not we can run the booths without them, since the cover is already doing that job. Send a photo and we will tell you which way it goes before you book.
Can you come to a park pavilion or a community pool?
Yes, and both are popular here. Two things to check first: whether the site has a standard outlet within reach, and whether whoever manages it wants a certificate of insurance. Tell us what they ask for and we will send it ahead of the date.
Is there a surcharge for crossing the bay?
Only if you are outside our standard service area, which runs about an hour from Tampa. Distance is what sets a travel fee, not which side of the water you are on. Give us the address and we will confirm before you book.
Where does the crew park a trailer in a gated neighborhood?
Usually on the street or in a driveway near the setup, and we need gate access arranged in advance. Let your guard house or management know we are coming, and tell us if there is a height limit or a service entrance we should use.
